"Be it remembered on this 21st day of July 1887, James T. Kescel, City Marshall, filed in court his complaint charging the defendant, Thomas Mitchell, with the crime of riding a horse through the streets of Park City faster than a rate of six miles per hour.
The Defendant was arranged and the complaint read to him, and he waived further time to plead, entered a plea of "Guilty" as charged in the complaint.
Whereupon the court imposed a fine of ($5.00) upon the defendant, which was paid."
